Very Weak Tool

I was looking for something easy-to-use to blur out faces but this is a little too basic. I get better results with the Retouch tool within iPhoto.
Blur tends to create horizontal lines where the eyes and teeth are - experiments on several different full-face photos produced the same results each time. You cant’ resize the image; all you get is a variable size square that you move over the picture and progressively click to create increasing amounts of blur. This might be a good tool if you needed to create a small area with only a minimal bluring - perhaps a simple soft-focus effect. Otherwise you’re better off with iPhoto.
